Cesspools

Cesspools are tanks designed to capture wastewater and are without a drain. They are mainly used in houses, cottages, holiday homes and wherever it is not possible to connect to the municipal sewerage system. They are the ideal solution for places where it is not possible to install a septic tank. Wastewater is collected in the sump and it is necessary to have the contents regularly removed by a faecal truck to a sewage treatment plant. The operation of the sump requires providing access for the fecal truck when removing the wastewater and preventing sewage spills into the surrounding area. The sumps are supplied as standard with an 800 mm diameter inlet stack and two lids, the inner one being odour-proof. The outlet is provided by a 160 mm diameter pipe.

We produce sumps in two variants:

Self-supporting

Designed for easy placement in the trench above the underlying concrete slab that serves as the foundation. Once settled, the sump is backfilled with soil to provide stability and protection. Its design makes the sump easily accessible and walkable for maintenance and service work.

Selfless

Designed to be placed in an excavation above a concrete base slab and then concreted into a walking surface or in an environment with a high water table or clay subgrade. Due to its design, this sump is firmly anchored and resistant to external influences, ensuring safety and reliability of its use. It is easily accessible and walkable for maintenance and service work.

Double-walled

The innovative design combines the advantages of plastic and concrete, while also serving as a support for the reinforcement for the future concrete intermediate layer. The plastic walls provide perfect protection for the concrete structure against the aggressive effects of wastewater and groundwater. As a result, the tank acquires the static properties typical of concrete tanks, such as load-bearing capacity and resistance to soil pressure and travel loads. This combination of materials and structural elements ensures the reliability, durability and longevity of the tank in demanding conditions.
